The Seneca View Camera was manufactured by the Seneca Camera Manufacturing Company from approximately 1901 to 1910. Constructed of mahogany with polished brass hardware and a red or black leather bellows lined with gossamer cloth. Focusing was accomplished via front and back rack and pinion movements and a rear ground glass back. The back was reversible with double swing. Available in 5 x 7 inch, full plate 6 1/2 x 8 1/2 inch, 8 x 10 inch, and 11 x 14 inch size. Prices for the camera without a lens ranged from $20.00 to $44.00.
