The Century Petite Special Camera was introduced in 1902 along with the Petite as the smallest of the century folding camera line. The Century Petite Special is essentially the same as the Petite camera except that it is not covered in leather. Instead the exterior is finely polished mahogany. Advertised as an innovation in style.
