The Seneca Chief camera was manufactured by the Seneca Camera manufacturing company from approximately 1918 to 1922. Advertised as the thin roll film camera. The body was constructed of aluminum with reinforced wood sides to provide the least wight with the necessary strength. Various lens shutter combinations were available for this camera. The Seneca Chief camera was available in two sizes. The No. 1A was capable of 2 1/2 x 4 1/4 inch exposures and the model No. 2C took 2 7/8 x 4 7/8 inch exposures. Pricing ranged from $20.00 to $48.00.
