  Reflex, Folding

The Ica Folding Reflex camera was manufactured by the Ica A.G. camera company of Dresden, Germany in circa 1922. This camera was also called the Klappreflex camera. Two variations were made, the model A version was numbered 754 made in a 6.5 x 9 cm size and a model B numbered 755 made in a 9 x 12 cm size. Designed as a very compact reflex camera folding into a very flat size. This cameras features are similar to the regular folding reflex but it does not have a reversible back and has less bellows extension. Regularly fitted with a Carl Zeiss Tessar f4.5 lens or teh Triotar f3.5 lens. The focal plane shutter providing speeds from 1/15 up to 1/1000 of a second including time. The model A camera measured 8 1/4 x 5 3/4 x 2 7/8 inches when closed and weighed 3 pounds 8 ounces. The model B camera measured 10 x 7 1/4 x 3 inches when closed and weighed 4 pounds 11 ounces.
