The Favorit camera was manufactured by the Ica A.G. camera company of Dresden, Germany in from approximately 1909 to 1927. The Favorit was capable of taking exposures on film packs or plates. Constructed of mahogany body with square black leather bellows and the body covered in black seal grain leather. The interior wood was ebonized, the metal fittings were finished in black enamel. The front bed is made of reinforced aluminum in a U shape, also black enameled. Additional features included a reversible brilliant finder, large focusing hood and two tripod sockets. This camera was fitted with Tessar lens lens in a compound shutter capable of speeds from one to 1/150 of a second, including time, bulb. Four models were available, Model 265 (9 x 12 cm), Model 266 (tropical version 9 x 12 cm), Model 335 (10 x 15 cm), Model 425 (13 x 18 cm or 5 x 7 inch).
