The Filmett Camera was manufactured by Seneca Camera Mfg. Co. from 1910 to approximately 1918. Designed as a compact folding camera that can be carried in a pocket. Made for daylight loading of film packs. Constructed of wood and covered with a walrus grain leather. Exposed has an ebony finish and the metal work is nickel plated. Fitted with either a single achromatic or double rapid rectilinear lens and a Uno automatic or Duo shutter. Available in 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inch size, 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inch size, 3 1/4 x 5 1/2 (postcard) size and a 4 x 5 inch size. Priced from $6.00 to $14.50 depending on size and lens/ shutter combination.
