The Featherweight Camera was manufactured by the J. F Shew and company of London England in circa 1895. Designed as a versatile camera for hand or stand, and capable of wide and long focus lens. Constructed of Mahogany wood with leather bellows. this camera was capable of taking half plate exposures, 6 1/2 x 4 3/4 inches on dry plates or cut films.
