The Defiance Camera was manufactured by C.C. Vevers in circa 1893. A long focus camera constructed of Mahogany wood and brass fittings. It featured a double extension conical bellows, rack and pinion adjustments, swing and reversing back, and sliding front. The camera was made in two sizes a quarter plate retailing for 27/6 and a half plate size retailing for 38/-.
