The Seneca Vest Pocket Camera was manufactured by the Seneca Camera Manufacturing company from approximately 1916 to 1925. The Vest Pocket Seneca camera was advertised as the 'Little Indian'. It was designed as the smallest most compact Seneca produced, measuring a mere 1 x 2 x 4 7/8 inches and weighing 8 ounces. It was capable of capturing eight images, 1 5/8 X 2 1/2 inches in size on No. 254 Vulcan film cartridge. Fitted with a Meniscus Archromatic lens or a rapid rectilinear lens or an Anastigmat lens and accompanied by a trio shutter providing time, bulb and instantaneous exposure speeds of 1/25, 1/50, and 1/100 of a second. It was constructed of an aluminum frame, nickel plated hardware, fine grain leather covering and a genuine leather bellows. Priced from $7.00 to $22.50 depending on the lens selected.
