The Camera City View camera was manufactured by Seneca Camera Manufacturing Company from approximately 1907 to 1930. Designed for home portraiture and general viewing, but can be adapted for scientific or tripod work. The city view camera featured a double tounged bed, front and back rack and pinion fosucing, jarless back, extreme rise and fall front, leather bellows, and a detachable bed brace. A strong construction and a large front board aids in accommodating a complete range of large or heavy lenses. Originally made in a variety of sizes including 5 x 7, 6 1/2 x 8 1/2, 8 x 10, 11 x 14, 14 x 17, 16 or 17 x 20 and priced from $29.50 to $90.00. By 1925 only two sizes were available, a 5 x 7 and 8 x 10 inch.
