Club News!
New Web Site Server On-line: Sigh!!! We did it! We have found a new affordable server to host the site. After allot of work we have moved all of our web site data that was possible and everything is now running on our new server. HCCC lives. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
A few glitches were experienced along the way. The most significant was for our members photo gallery. We have a new and improved members photo gallery but the old images and data was lost. Please share if you are able!
Here are the links to the HCCC members features:

Historic Camera Identification: Our most significant improvement this quarter was for the start of our section called "the time line of historic cameras". Only 28 cameras have been submitted to the time line. There are so many more. See the information by clicking here.
Get the Word out and Sign up members: Download printable member application forms to display on your shop counter or show table by following this link. Not only will you help to make the club fun, but you will also receive a nice quality gift . Note that if you sign up 2 new Associate members you will get a free HCCC T-shirt. New members sign up with the normal club membership application form, and add your user name in the promotions field and you will be credited.
| HCCC Shop: A few new designs were submitted to our members shop. Two T-shirt designs to support our launch of the time line of historic cameras, and a revised club logo tile. Support the club by making a purchase for yourself or as a gift. Design suggestions are always welcome. Click the image or click here to browse the shop. Our historical articles book continues to do well. Please let your schools know that it is available as a historical reference. |

Featured Article: This months featured journal article is a historic story about "The Kodak" Camera. It is from the 1888 Scientific American Magazine. The article describes the introduction of the Kodak camera and the success of George Eastman. It has been reformatted and is Available for download in PDF format for paying members by clicking here. Non-paying members can purchase the book version from our store or basic members can upgrade to gain access to the ebooks by clicking here.

|
Web Site Stats: Site Traffic has increased this quarter. This last month we were almost back up to 50,000 page impressions for September using our new statistics program.
CAMERA SHOWS: We get typical questions asking if a camera shows is in a specific city. Although we do our best to update the calendar it is always, not easy to answer this question and details are best if received from the show promoters web site. To make this easier we have compiled a list of shows and promoters so that you can easily find the show in your area and know where to find more info about it. We may put it in a searchable database if it is liked. Check it out at http://www.historiccamera.com/camerashowz.html
Q4 New Memberships: Sign up for the quarter has been good. We had 20 new members join his quarter. This brings our membership up to 218 active. Please welcome our new members:
