By Using the Historic Camera Classified Ads feature on the website, members and guests agree to abide by the terms and conditions stated below:
1. Usage of the classified ads system, Buyers and Sellers agree to admonish and NOT hold the Administrators, others associated with the Historic Camera website or historic camera collectors Club members libable from any damages or issues that may arise from a transaction.
2 Buyers and Sellers accept all responsibility for all aspects of the sale. Transactions are to be conducted privately between Buyer and Seller, without assistance from the administrator.
3. It is the responsibilty of the Buyer and Seller to complete the transaction. An agreed to sale is a contract. All transactions are to be conducted privately between participants. Disputes should also be handled privately
4. All items should be offered for a fair price and described to the best of your ability. Ads should State in detail the condition, the price, and clearly defined shipping terms.
5. Sale limitations, like geography, check acceptance must be stated upfront by the seller.
6. Items sold in the Historic camera Classified section must come with a five (5) day money back guarantee from sellers. Shipping costs can be considered non-refundable.
7. The BUYER is responsible for asking all pertinent questions regarding
issues of condition, price, and shipping, insurance and the SELLER is obligated to
answer such questions with as accurate information as possible.
8. Once and item is listed, Sellers will not withdraw from any offer that is in progress without acceptable cause.
9. All transactions should be completed in a reasonable amount of time. Seller shall ship an item to Buyer no later than 5 days after receipt or confirmation of cash payment and shall inform buyer of ship date. Members are recommended to include insurance and shipment tracking to protect themselves during the transaction.
10. Classified ads shall list photographic related items only.
10a. No x-rated content may be posted. Antique photos of nudes or similar can be sold but it is not allowed to post sexually explicit or exposed body parts in images or photos. You can mail interested buyer upon request
11. All club members will be on their honor to abide by these guidelines. Abuse will not be tolerated and access to the classified ads section or membership may be terminated as a result of improper behavior.
12. These guidelines are subject to change as needs arise, so please use good judgement in all aspects of the transaction.
13. Buyer may submit a complaint to Historic Camera If you pay a seller who does not ship the promised goods. Buyer should first contact the seller and attempt to resolve the dispute. Historic Camera will help buyers recover funds from sellers who do not ship the promised goods. Historic Camera will investigate your claim, contact the seller and, if the seller does not present appropriate proof of shipment, a full refund or other evidence of a satisfactory resolution, Historic Camera will remove the Sellers right to access the Historic Cameras Classified Ads and/ or complete banishment from the club without reimbursement of paid dues. RECOVERY OF YOUR CLAIM IS NOT GUARANTEED. Complaints must be filed no later than 30 days from the date of payment. Only one Complaint may be filed per transaction.
