Wonder Cannon Camera

The Wonder Cannon Camera, or otherwise referred to as the cannon camera, was manufactured by the Chicago Ferrotype company from 1910 to approximately 1928. This was an improvement of the first short lived model call simply the wonder camera. This camera was patented Jan 22 1910, with a second patent Jan 26 1910. The name Cannon was selected because of the shape of the camera. This new machine was capable of turning out button photographs at a rate of 360 per hour. Capable of making eight finished photo buttons in one minute. Originally priced at $25 for a complete outfit consisting of the cannon camera, a tripod, and supplies for making 400 finished photo buttons.
