  ROC View Camera by Kodak

The ROC view camera continued to be produced by the Eastman Kodak company after they purchased the Rochester Optical Company in 1904. Designed as an inexpensive and reliable view camera for those who do not need an extra long bellows, like for interior work. Constructed of highly polished mahogany with brass hardware and a black fabric bellows. Back focusing is provided so that wide angle work can be performed. Features included vertical and horizontal swing, rising and falling front, reversible back, and one tripod socket. The lens board is wide enough to accommodate stereoscopic lens. Available in three sizes: 5 x 7, 6 1/2 x 8 1/2 and an 8 x 10 inch. Prices for camera only ranged from $20.00 to $25.00.
