The Premograph Camera was manufactured by the Eastman Kodak Company from 1907 to 1908. Designed to provide amateurs the advantages of reflecting construction at a low cost and with simplified features. The prime feature of the reflecting camera is that it permits the the operator to keep an image of the subject always in view, in the exact size and position which would be captured in the photo. The premograph took twelve 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inch exposures on a Premo film pack. It had a simple mechanism which allows a reflecting glass to be at a 45 degree angel for viewing. The exposure was captured by turning a key which would turning reflecting glass out of the line of sight and and at the same time operate the shutter. The camera measures 4 3/8 x 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches and wighs 29 ounces. Originally priced at $10.00.
