Telephoto Cornex by R. J. Beck

The Telephoto Cornex was manufactured by R. J. Beck Ltd beginning in approximately 1905. Designed to be able to take regular views and instantly adjust an extension for telephoto views at will. In addition to the usual finders a third finder is provided to give the view included by the telephoto lens. The finder is available after drawing out the extension front. There are two focusing scales each provided with a Cornex Index giving the depth of focus with any aperture for both lens systems. Another advantage of this camera is that it becomes possible to focus on near objects without using supplementary lenses. It is a daylight loading camera. Depending on lens the Telephoto cornex was priced from £12 12s to £21 15s 6d.
