The Stereoscopic Premo was manufactured by the Rochester Optical company from approximately 1895 - 1900. The Premo and the Premo Sr. hand camera were modified with a wider front for Amateur Stereoscopic work for both 5 x 7 or 6 1/2 x 8 1/2 sizes. The lens were a matched pair of 4 x 5 rapid rectilinear lenses, the same as used on the Premo, and fitted with a Baush and Lomb shutter. The shutter was designed especially for use with stereoscopic lenses and synchronized.
Price for 1895 was $70 & $80 for the respective sizes.
