  King Camera by Rochester Optical


The King camera was manufactured from 1897 to 1903. It was designed for to meet the needs of both Amateur and Professional photographers. Designed like a compact English view camera and style of fine Mahogany, red leather bellows and brass lacquered hardware. It has a double swing front and a reversible double swing back. The back may be swung in either the vertical or horizontal plane. It has both a front and rear fine rack and pinion focusing movement. Sold with one holder and canvas case. available in sizes, 5 x 7; 6 1/2 x 8 1/2; 8 x 10; 11 x 14 and ranging in price form $36 to $55 in 1902.
