The Katch camera by Rochester Optical Company was manufactured approximately from 1893 to1894. Constructed of mahogany wood, red leather bellows and included lacquered brass hardware. The design was similar to the Shew focal plane eclipse camera. Sizes available included 3 1/4 X 4 1/4, 4 x 5, 4 1/2 x 6 1/2, 5 x 7. This is a rarely seen camera.
