The Peerless camera was manufactured approximately from 1887 to 1894. Designed to be a top of the line camera. It was constructed of Honduras mahogany with nickel trimmings. Features included sliding front, folding bed, rack and pinion, easily reversed by means of a new reversing clamp, bed clamp to hold the rail rigid, horizonal swing and the guide brackets are set in teh groove in teh side of the metal rack. Price for 1896 ranged from $16 to $26 dollars. 7 sizes were produced from 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 up to 8 x 10.
