Shew's New Model, Tourist Camera was manufactured by the J. F. Shew & company from approximately 1882 to 1890.

Designed specifically to meet every requirement of the Tourist or Landscape photographer. Constructed of Spanish mahogany with leather bellows.

Features included Shew's improved double swing back, rack and pinion adjustment for focusing, New registered double back and folding shutters, two inner frames, for smaller sizes, double action front and extra front. Available in four sizes, 6 1/2 x 4 3/4 inches, 7 1/2 x 5 inches, 8 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches and 8 x 10 inches. Sold with a solid leather case and three double racks. Priced from 4£ 3S to 7£ 7S.
