The Marvel Petite was manufactured by the Gundlach-Manhanattan Optical Co. in circa 1905. Described as a small Korona with the same standards for quality in every detail of construction. Constructed of wood with a seal grain cover. Manual front focus with a metal standard that is nickel plated and highly polished. Spring actuated ground glass focusing screen to accept Korona petite plate holders. A reversible finder and two tripod sockets. Fitted with a special symmetrical lens housed in a junior automatic shutter. The camera was available in two sizes to take either 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 or 3 1/4 x 5 1/2 images. The outside dimensions are 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 5 3/8 and 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 6 5/8 respectively.
