The Vive Souvenir camera was manufactured in circa 1895. Designed as a advertising give away camera for ordering a dozen plates for the first time at 0.25 cents and the souvenir developing and finishing outfit priced at 0.75 cents. So for 1 US dollar you can have a full photo taking and developing capability. Delivery was free. The camera was constructed of cardboard taking 6 x 6.25 cm images with elaborate gold writing on the front stating "Vive Souvenir camera".
