The Newman & Guardia Sibyl Vitesse was manufactured starting from approximately 1925, it undetermined when production stopped. Another variation of the light, compact and accurate Sibyl camera, this design introduced along with the Excelsior Sibyl provided a improved shutter with increased speeds to 1/150 of a second.
Constructed of metal, covered in the best morocco leather and a black bellows of the finest leather. Capable of taking exposures 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches in size. Features included single extension, vertical and horizontal rising front, folding reflecting finder with a pull-out lens hood, focusing scale from 2 yards. Fitted with various lens, including a Ross Xpres f3.5,and the Dallmeyer Dalmac f3.5 lens.
