The Flat Folding Kodak Camera was manufactured by the Eastman Kodak Company from approximately 1894 to 1896. This camera was only marketed in Europe. Advertised as a camera for cyclists as it can with ease, be carried on any make of machine, either resting on the handle bar or suspended from the framework. The camera was only 3 1/2 inches in depth reflecting its name and was capable of taking 5 x 4 inch photographs on roll film loaded in a dark room. Features included rack and pinion focusing, reversible finder, and a time and instantaneous shutter. The camera measures only 3 1/2 x 6 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches when closed and weighs 3 lbs 4 ozs when loaded with film.
