The No. 1A Kodak Junior Camera was manufactured by the Eastman Kodak Company in 1914 only. this camera took twelve 2 1/4 x 4 1/4 images on No. 116 film without reloading. Constructed of aluminum with fine grain leather covering, nickel and and black enamel hardware. Features included new easy removable back for daylight loading of film, choice of a meniscus achromatic or rapid rectilinear lens, automatic focusing lock, collapsible reversible finder, two tripod sockets. Compact in size measuring only 1 5/8 x 3 3/4 x 8 inches and weighing 28 ounces. Original price in 1914 was $9.00 or $11.00 if supplied with the Rapid rectilinear lens.
