The No. 5 Folding Kodet Camera was manufactured by Eastman Kodak Company from 1895 to 1897. Constructed of mahogany wood with leather covering and polished brass hardware. Producing images 5 x 7 inches on roll film or glass plates. Features included rising, falling and sliding front, adjustable swing back, reversible finder, ground glass behind hinged door for fine focusing, improved time and instantaneous shutter, and a single view or a rapid rectilinear lens. Original priced at $22.00 for single view lens or $30.00 for the camera equipped with a rapid rectilinear lens.
