The No 1A and No. 3 Special Kodaks were similar, except differed in size. The No. 1A was manufactured from 1912 to 1914 and took 2 1/2 x 4 1/4 inch size images on No. 116 film. The No. 3A was manufactured from 1910 to 1914 and took 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inch size images on No. 122 roll film. Both featured a Zeiss Kodak anastigmat lens, f6.3, and compound shutter, two tripod sockets, brilliant reversible finder with hood and rack and pinion for focusing. The No. 1A Originally sold for $63.00 and the No. 3 sold for $80.50.
