The No. 4 Screen Focus Kodak was manufactured by the Eastman Kodak Company from 1904 to 1910. Designed to allow the viewing of the focusing ground glass screen without removing the roll film from the camera. It was accomplished by inserting a dark slide to protect the film, swinging the No. 123 roll film out away from the camera and inserting the ground glass for viewing. Basic features included a rapid rectilinear lens, Kodak automatic shutter, rising front, brilliant reversible finder, two tripod sockets, twelve exposures, seal grain leather and nickel plated hardware. Originally priced from $30.00 to $87.50
