The No. 3 Autographic Kodak Special Camera was manufactured from 1914 to 1926. Constructed with an aluminum body and covered with genuine persian morroco. Metal parts finished in nickel or black enamel, Capable to taking 10 post card size exposures, 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inch on a no. A118 roll film cartridge. This camera measures 1 7/8 x 4 1/2 x 8 inches when closed. The basic No. 3 came with a Kodak anastigmat lens f6.3 and Kodamatic Shutter. However various options were available including 1) Kodak anastigmat lens and Ilex or Optimo Shutter, 2) Baush & lomb Kodak anstigmat f6.3 lens with a Ilex Acme or Optimo shutter, or 3) Baush & Lomb Tessar series IIb anastigmat lens and Kodamatic shutter. Features included a black leather bellows, autographic feature, rising front, combination back, range finder, adjustable rack and pinion focus, focusing scale, reversible brilliant finder and two tripod sockets.
