  No. 3A Folding Brownie Camera

The No. 3A Folding Brownie Camera was introduced in 1909 by the Eastman Kodak Company and discontinued in 1915. Constructed of wood with imitation leather covering and red and black bellows and nickeled fittings. The No. #A was capable of taking a picture 3 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch "Postcard size" images on No. 122 film. Equipped with a single achromatic lens or Rapid Rectilinear lens and either a brownie ball bearing or modified F.P.K. Shutter, automatic focusing lock, reversible finder and two tripod sockets. This camera measures 2 5/8 x 4 5/8 x 9 7/8 inches and weighs 34 ounces.
