The Ne Plus Ultra Camera outfit was manufactured by Scovill Mfg. Co. from approximately 1881 to 1890. Constructed of wood that was either stained or painted black (ebonized) with black rubber bellows and featured a single swing, removable front, brass hardware and folding platform. Available in 4 x 5, 5 x 8, 8 1/2 x 6 1/2, and 8 x 10 sizes.
