The Compact View Camera was manufactured by the Scovill & Adams company in circa 1892.
The camera was constructed of polished mahogany box with patent reversible swing back, a turn table on platform, a cherry base, black fabric bellows, Manual rear focus, top adjusting single swing, and brass lacquered hardware. A raising front which can be set back on platform when Camera is used with a short focus lens. Outfits came with a canvas carrying case and a Scovill Adjustable Tripod.
