Antique Oak Detective Camera by Scovill Mfg.

The Antique Oak Detective Camera was manufactured by Scovill Manufacuring Company from circa 1890. This camera was actually made both Antique finished oak wood and also leather covered. The leather covered camera is called the Knack. Advertised as a lighter and more Compact camera than any other cheap Detective Camera in the market with a much more expensive and more perfect lens. The Camera has two Finders, Double Combination Instantaneous Lens with Stops and a Instantaneous and Time Shutter with Speed Cap for timed exposures.
