The Waterbury Hand Camera was manufactured by the Scovill Mfg. Co. in circa 1896. It was introduced as a less expensive model of the Waterbury line of hand cameras. A 4x5 hand camera constructed of a leather covered wood box. Equipped with a high quality rapid single achromatic lens, a safety time and instantaneous shutter. A convenient focusing adjustment with indicating plate on the top. This camera sold for $15 in 1896.
