The Bullseye Camera was originally designed by the Boston Camera company in 1892. It was marketed by the Blair company and the European Blair Company. The camera design was simple and produced images that were 3 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches from roll film. The important feature introduced with this camera was a transparent red window on the camera back to monitor the advance of film. This replaced the less reliable mechanical frame counter. The Bullseye originally sold for $7.00.
