The Automatic Unimark I was manufactured by Leidolf company of Wetzlar, Western Germany for Unimark Photo Inc. of New York in circa 1959. This camera was the same as the Lordomatic II camera featuring a coupled selenium meter. Constructed of a die-cast aluminum body with black leatherette covering and the exposed metal chromed. This camera took standard 35mm roll film. It was fitted with a Triplon 50mm f2.8 lens and a Prontor-SLK variable shutter providing speeds from 1 to 1/300th of a second, plus bulb. It also featured a built-in optical view finder, flash synchronization and a rapid-wind film, count and shutter advance.
