The Adams model 352 was manufactured by the Leidolf company of Wetzlar, Western Germany and was sold by the Montgomery Ward Company in circa 1958. Montgomery Ward advertised the camera's built-in coupled rangefinder with one touch auto focus as the biggest selling point. It was constructed of a die-cast aluminum body with black leatherette covering and the exposed areas either painted black enamel or chromed. Capable of taking 20 or 36 exposures on standard 35mm roll film. It was fitted with a 4-element Lordonar 50mm f2.8 lens and a Pronto four speed leaf shutter providing speeds from 1/25 to 1/200 of a second, plus bulb. The lens is interchangeable with a wide angle or a telephoto lens. It also featured a built-in bright-frame optical view finder, flash synchronization, a self-timer, double exposure prevention, and a fast rapid-wind film advance, that advances the film, counter and sets the shutter all in one stroke. Originally priced at $58.95 usd.
