The Adams model 351 was manufactured by Leidolf company of Wetzlar, Western Germany in circa 1958. This 35mm camera was distributed by Montgomery Ward company. It was constructed of a die-cast aluminum body with black leathereette covering and the exposed areas either painted black enameled or chromed. Capable of taking 20 or 36 exposures on standard 35mm roll film. It was made with a black nameplate and a chrome nameplate. This camera was fitted with a 3-element Leidolf Wetzlar Triplon 50mm f2.8 lens and a Pronto four speed leaf shutter providing speeds from 1/25 to 1/200 of a second, plus bulb. The lens is interchangeable with a wide angle or a telephoto lens. It also featured a built-in optical view finder, flash synchronization, a self-timer, double exposure prevention, and a fast rapid wind film advance, that also advances the film, counter and sets the shutter all in one stroke.
