The Retina Ib camera was manufactured by Kodak AG in Stuttgart, Germany from 1954 to 1957. A compact 35 mm camera with swing lens cover. Body made of metal with the exposed metal chromed or covered with leather. Fitted with various lenses including a Retina-Xenon f2.8 along with a Compur-Rapid shutter providing speeds from 1 to 1/500th of a second plus bulb. Other features included film type indicator, self-timer, and flash synchronization, and exposure value linkage for aperture and speed.
