The Vigilant Junior cameras were manufactured Eastman Kodak from 1940 to 1949. A self erecting folding camera constructed of a metal body and covered in leather. The Vigilant Junior Six-16 took 2 1/2 x 4 1/4 inch exposures on no. 616 roll film. The Vigilant Six-20 took 2 1/2 x 3 1/4 inch exposures on no. 620 roll film. The Six-16 camera Models came equipped with a Kodak f6.3 Anastigmat lens or a fixed focus f/11 doublet lens. The Six-20 camera came equipped with either a simple fixed focus Kodet meniscus lens in a Dak shutter, or a better 3 element Bimat lens in a Dakon shutter.
