The Kodak Suprema was manufactured in Stuttgart, Germany by Kodak AG in circa 1938 to 1939. A well made camera constructed with a metal body covered in leather with chromed metal parts. Reported to be referred to as the Gullivers Retina. The camera captured six 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 inch exposures on Kodak no. 620 roll film. It was fitted with a Schneider Kreuznach Xenar f3.5 80mm lens in a Compur Rapid shutter providing speeds from 1 to 1/400 of a second plus time (T ) and bulb (B) with a built-in self timer. Other features included a Body release and automatic film spacing. Double exposure prevention. The view finder is of the telescopic type and can be pushed partly in the camera body when not in use.
