The No. 4 Eureka camera was manufactured by the Eastman Kodak Co. in only 1899. A large box camera for taking 4 x 5 inch exposures. It was fitted with an achromatic lens with a set of three stops and a Kodak improved rotary shutter. Made for plates but can be adapted for use with films with the addition of a No. 4 horizontal Cartridge Roll holder. The plate holder and roll holder were interchangeable in the field. Camera measures 5 1/2 x 6 1/8 x 11 inches. Originally sold for $6.00 usd.
