The No. 1 Premo Film Camera was manufactured by Eastman Kodak from 1906 to 1916, shortly after taking over the Rochester Optical Co. and Premo name. It was constructed of a wood body, metal bed, chromed fittings and covered in black leather with a red leather bellows. Made in various sizes. Designed for use with Kodak film packs. It was fitted with a Planatograph meniscus fixed focus lens and either a simple instantaneous, time and bulb shutter or an improved Shutter providing speeds of 1/25th to 1/100th of a second, plus time and bulb.
