  Vest Pocket Kodak Special Camera (Snakeskin)

The Vest Pocket Kodak Special Camera was manufactured by the Eastman Kodak Company from 1912 to 1935. This was a very special edition of the Vest Pocket Kodak Special becasue it was covered with snakeskin. The camera was Constructed of metal with nickeled hardware. It was fitted with the Kodak Anastigmat or Bausch & lomb anastigmat with a Kodak ball bearing shutter for speeds up to 1/50 second. Features included a Kodak auto-time scale. Daylight loading with eight exposure autographic film cartridges no. 127 for photos 1 5/8 x 2 1/2 inches. It came with a clam shell case similar to the vanity kodak cameras.
