  No. 2 Hawkette Camera

The No. 2 Hawkette camera was manufactured or assembled by Kodak Limited Company of Harlow, Great Britain in circa 1930. A pocket sized strut folding camera constructed of marbled bakelite plastic. Believed to be the first plastic bodied camera produced by Eastman Kodak. The camera took 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inch exposures on 120 Roll film. It was fitted with a fixed focus meniscus lens and a rotary instantaneous shutter. The camera was mainly given away as a marketing premium or enticement.
