  Kodak Hawkeye Ace & Ace De Luxe Box Cameras

The Kodak Hawkeye Ace & Ace De Luxe Box Cameras were manufactured by the Kodak Ltd. Company of the Uk in circa 1936. It was similar to the Kodak Hawkeye and Baby Hawkeye cameras made by Kodak Ltd. It was a simple box camera constructed of cardboard and covered in black leatherette material, including on the metal face plate. The camera accepted Kodak no. 127 roll-film for capturing exposures 4 x 6.5cm in size. It featured a fixed focus meniscus lens and an instantaneous flip-flop shutter running at approximately 1/60th of a second in additon to time. A large wire frame extending from the users right side for focusing.
