The camera manufacturing firm of Bloch was formed in circa 1890 by two brothers Edmund & Leon. The company specialized in disguised or hidden "detective" cameras. Leon designed the cameras and edmund manufactured them. The firm was advertised as Leon Bloch, inventor - manufacturer located at 1, avenue de la Republique, Paris. The cameras produced capture the imagination and push the boundaries of early century spy cameras.
