Anthony's Champion Camera

E. & H.T. Anthony Champion camera was manufactured from around 1890 to 1895. It was one of the more popular dry plate camera models. It was made of mahogany with fine varnish finish. the camera housed a rear folding bed that was held in place with Anthony's patent clamps. Additional features included a rising front and ability to adapt for vertical or horizontal pictures. A distinctive cone shaped, single achromatic brass lens suited for landscape came with the outfit. In addition, a wooden carrying case and tripod came with the outfit. Sizes ranged from 4x5 to 8x10 and prices from $10 to $20 dollars.
