Anthony's Victoria Camera

The Victoria Cameras was manufactured by E. Anthony in 1873. It is intended also for one or two ferrotype photos with one lens, or four or eight with four Gem lenses, on a five by seven plate. the Improved model of 1884 was capable of making a reversible 5 x 7, 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 or 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 photograph. Advertised as one of the useful everyday cheap cameras on the market. Handsomely finished in Mahogany, glass corner shield and kits, burnished with brass work. It has several improvement over any Camera heretofore offered to the trade. The cost in 1886 was $15 without lens and $31.50 with 4- 1/4 Gem lens, on a brass plate.
